example skeleton should never cause any framerate problems. Please note that when selecting objects in the Scene it will decrease performance in the Game view, however there you should trust the displayed fps in the Stats
of the Game View window more.
Anyway, you said it also had bad framerate when deployed to your Android device.
Is this a clean Unity project and scene with no other 3rdparty assets in it?
How did you create the Raptor instance in the scene? Which asset exactly did you drag into the Scene or Hierarchy panel?
