Hi. I am working in a mobile game company and i have to prepare game assets that has to work in unity. For optimisation purposes we cut down the useless parts of the images and stretch the parts together so that they still look pretty much the same with the finished product but also having way less atlas dimensions which is good for optimisation.
However. It has caused a visual glitch in unity where the stretched edges end up having weird "shadows" on them which causes the "seamless look".
Here i prepared an example that has the same problem as i described above. Unfortunately i cannot show the actual asset.
