I'm working in Spine + After Effects setup and regularly I face one issue:
I usually export the animations in layer (skins) to image sequences to compose them later in After Effects. This approach is very flexible and works best for my purposes. I export all the sequences into one work folder where they can be rewritten by a new iteration of animation. Sequences are linked to After Effects project and after another iteration i can just select all the sources and press Reload Footage to update the files in After Effects.
The problem, or better to say the obstacle, appears when I update just one layer in animation, but I have to export all the skins (layers) to keep the sequences naming the same so it rewrites existing pngs well and I won't have to reimport/replace the footages into the After Effects project again, because it's very hard to predict and really not obvious how does the Spine generates the names of the exported animation files. Sometimes it adds skin name, sometimes it doesnt, sometimes it adds animation name, sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes when you add a slash '/' at the end of export path it takes last part as a folder name, sometimes it takes it as a export file name.
So, my first point is that Spine needs some kind of a checkbox select menu to export certain multiple animations and certain multiple skins in just one click and my second point is that the user should be able to see the clear filepath template of the exporting sequence (smth like lorem/ipsum/anim_[#####].png)
