Hi, if I want smooth animation transitions like the link here, what C++ function do I need to use?

In the C++ documentation you can see the exact functions used to set the default mix and specific mix values between two animations. Here is the link.

In that example, the first skeleton uses a default mix value of 0.25, while the other uses 0 (no mix).
No different mix values are defined for specific animations.

I notice if I use setAnimation to change animations, then even if I have setDefaultMix(0.5), there is no blend between transitions and I see the 'Abrupt' result - is this to be expected?

hsdk123 No, that's not expected. But without seeing your code, it's hard for us to determine what’s happening.

Which runtime version are you using?
Are your editor version and runtime version the same?
Could you share a minimal reproduction of the issue so we can actually see and test what you’re experiencing?

This code looks OK to me. I've updated the spine-glfw example to try and reproduce this. You can press space at any point and the animation smoothly transitions from whatever the current animation is to the "walk" animation:

I was unable to reproduce your issue. Can you maybe try your assets with the glfw example?
